Article1 (Name)

The name of this company is GRIT.

Article 2 (Objective)

The objective of GRIT shall be the promotion of client’s health and mutual friendship through training, as well as contributing to the creation of a healthy lifestyle on all levels.

Article 3 (Operation and Management)

Operation and management shall be conducted by GRIT.

Article 4 (Expulsion of Clients)

GRIT may expel members when any of the following items apply, causing client’s eligibility to be lost.

(1)When GRIT Regulations or other rules are violated

(2)When damage is caused to the good name of GRIT

(3)When there is non-payment of a fee or other liabilities with no response to notification from GRIT

(4)When it is determined that an untrue notification was made at the time of joining

(5)At the discretion of GRIT 

Article 5 (Forfeit of Membership Qualifications)

Clients qualifications shall be forfeited when any of the following items apply.

(1)Should the client be expelled for any reason 

(2)When the membership contract is canceled in accordance with Article 5

(3)Should the client pass away during the course of the contract period

(4)Should payment for services not be received within a time frame determined by GRIT

(5)Due to unforeseen events and acts of nature

Article 6 (Notification of Changed Details)

(1)In the event of changes to a client’s address, contact details, or other application details, notification is to be promptly made to GRIT. 

(2)Notifications to clients shall be made to the most recent address provided by clients with no responsibility to be borne by GRIT thereafter. 

Article 7 (Compensation for Damages)

(1)Any theft, loss or impediment that occurs when using the facilities at GRIT shall be the individual responsibility of each client, with GRIT bearing absolutely no responsibility.  The same applies for Visitors.  

(2)GRIT shall not be responsible for payment of damages for damages incurred by a client due to reasons attributable to that client when using the facilities of GRIT.  The same applies for Visitors.  

(3)In the event that GRIT or a third party incurs damage due to reasons attributable to a client when using the facilities of GRIT, the client is promptly bound to make compensation.  The same applies for Visitors.  

(4)Any injury, illness or accident that occurs when using any facilities at GRIT shall be the individual responsibility of each client, with GRIT bearing absolutely no responsibility.  The same applies for Visitors.  

Article 8 (Lost and Found Items)

(1)GRIT shall not be responsible for payment of damages for items of clients that are lost when using the facilities of GRIT. The same applies for Visitors.

(2)As a general rule, found items shall be disposed of after a period of one month. 

Article 9 (Alteration of Other Various Rules)

In the event that it is deemed necessary, GRIT may alter these regulations, by-laws, usage stipulations, and other details in relations to operation and management of GRIT.  Further, the content of alterations shall apply to all clients.

Article 10 (Closure and Dissolution)

In the event that it is deemed necessary, GRIT may close or dissolve itself. 

Furthermore, in this event, compensation shall not be made to members. 

(1)When there are alterations or repairs to facilities.  

(2)When the practice of business is not possible due to natural disasters, calamities, or other acts of God. 

(3)When serious administrative reasons exist. 

Article 11 (Strict Compliance with Various Rules)

When using the facilities of GRIT, Clients must strictly comply with GRIT Regulations as well as other rules separately determined by GRIT. 

Article 12 (Health Management)

The conduct of health management shall be the response of each individual Client and Visitor. 

Article 13 (Prohibition to Entry and Ejection)

GRIT may ban entry and order exit of GRIT for those Clients or Visitors for which any of the following items applies. 

(1)When infectious disease is contracted.

(2)The condition of health is damaged and it is determined that exercise is not desirable. 

(3)Photography or filming within the premises without permission.

(4)Business activities or soliciting at GRIT without permission, including trading of goods. 

(5)Slander of other people. 

(6)Acts of violence or intimidating behavior towards other people. 

(7)Behavior that goes against public order and morals, including molesting, peeping and exposure.

(8)Writing graffiti or causing trouble within the premises.

(9)Bringing animals inside the premises.  Guide dogs are excluded. 

(10)Bringing dangerous goods inside the premises.

(11)Coming to the premises smelling of alcohol or drinking alcohol or smoking at the premises.

(12)Behavior that disturbs the work of GRIT employees or tenants. 

(13)Stalking behavior towards other people. 

(14)Behavior that disturbs other people utilizing facilities. 

(15)In the event of false notifications when entering the premises. 

(16)Other behavior that conforms to the items in this article. 

Article 14 (Suspension or Business)

In addition to set business holidays separately determined by GRIT, GRIT may temporarily close due to facilities maintenance, or in the event that unavoidable circumstances arise.  In the event of a temporary closure, those details will be posted in advance within the facilities.  

 I understand and agree with all the stipulations of GRIT CLIENT POLICY on Medical Confirmation and Personal Information, and would like to become a client of GRIT. 

I hereby declare that I am in good physical health to use the facilities at GRIT.  I also recognize that I am solely responsible for my health and any condition which may arise.
